CLEVELAND, Ohio - Detectives are investigating a pair of shootings that left two men injured late Thursday in Cleveland.
No arrests have been made in either incident, police said.
A 34-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh about 8 p.m. on Broadway Avenue near Morton Avenue. The man received treatment at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center.
The victim was urinating next to a dumpster when he noticed an unknown man standing next to him with a gun. The unknown man shot the victim after a brief struggle, police said.
Investigators have not offered a motive for the shooting.
A 20-year-old man was shot several times just before 9:30 p.m. on Parkgate Avenue near East 105th Street, police said.
A witness said five unknown men held the victim at gunpoint before shooting him. The five men then ran off, the witness told police.
Detectives are still investigating what led to the shooting.
Cleveland EMS took the victim to University Hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available Friday morning.
